Julia's Families

In commitment to care for WHOLE children in our WHOLE school community, Julia’s Families assists with any needs to help our kids thrive in school.  These include:

  • Food

  • School Clothing

  • School Supplies

  • Reading Books

  • School Events

If your family is experiencing THESE NEEDS or would benefit from any assistance, please ask in the front office or let our school counselor, Cori Nash, know.  We love to help!

If you would like to CONTRIBUTE to our families, we would be grateful for any of the following:

  • Standard school attire and outerwear in good condition.  Please bring these items to school in a bag, labeled with gender and size.  Larger sizes are always our biggest need.

  • Reading books in good condition from early reader through 6th grade

  • Food for weekend backpacks (ready to eat items only; see suggestions below)

    • Granola/nutrition bars

    • Trail Mixes

    • Peanut butter crackers

    • Individual apple sauce

    • Canned meal (chef Boyardee)

    • Canned vegetables

    • Canned fruits

    • Hearty soups and chili

    • Peanut butter

    • Pasta and pasta sauce

    • Canned tuna

Please note that we only need these food and clothing items at this time and do not have the man-power to sort through anything not on the above list.

There are collection bins in the front hallway beside the PTO workroom. If you have any questions related to the Julia's Families program, please contact Margaret Harris or Sarah Bartholomew.
