How Do I Register a Student?

Families can begin the registration process by visiting one of the 8 enrollment centers. The centers are open year-round every Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. For families that cannot come during the workday, two enrollment centers are open from 9 a.m.- noon every Saturday in July (MNPS Family Information Center at 2601 Bransford Avenue OR at the McGavock enrollment center at 3150 McGavock Pike.)

To register, families should bring the following documents:

  • Completed MNPS Registration Packet - 1-4 Grade PacketKindergarten Packet

  • Parent/guardian photo ID (driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.)

  • Record Of Birth (birth certificate, passport, visa, I-94, etc.)

  • Immunization/Vaccination Record (on a Tennessee Certificate of Immunization form)

  • Proof of Residency (lease, utility bill, etc.)

  • School Physical

  • Recent Transcript/Report Card (optional)
